Palatines of NY records
My 2nd great-grandparents were Jacob Coons (b. bet. 1763–1774 in Ancram, Columbia county; d. abt 1851 Sandusky, Ohio) and Ellenor Hagedorn/Hagadorn (b. Abt 1775 in NY). I have been unable to find Ellenor's parents or birth, christening, marriage or death records for her on either FamilySearch or Ancestry, nor in the Henry Z. Jones books or the Wm. Solyman Coons book. I would appreciate suggestions for where to look next. Thank you.

I couldn't tell from your question whether or not you had found a marriage record that did not list her parents or if you could not find any records at all. I would suggest finding Hagedorn's that lived near Jacob's family in about 1795 and at least have a starting point to research. According to Solyman's book, the Coons moved from Columbia county to Rensselaerville, Albany county between 1783 and 1787. That is where Jacob and Ellenor's first child was baptized (Berne Lutheran, from the book), so that is where I would look for Ellenor's family. The marriage should have been recorded in Lutheran church records, but may not have survived. You might try looking for Hagadorn's in tax records, found here on Family Search but can only be viewed at a FH Center.
Also, look for Jacob and/or his father in Albany county censuses, 1790 to 1820. Are there Hagadorn's in the same area?
