In the small chance that I die before my parents, what would happen to their “person page”
Hi there. I’ve been going through a lot of family search for my mom and dad as they clean their house. They are both still living. So my “person page” for them is now more complete than their own, or any of my siblings.
In the small chance that I die before they do, what would happen to those pages? I have hundreds of good pictures that are labeled with descriptions and important documents. It would be a shame to have that all just disappear.
Is there any way to have a back up person take it over in case this happens?
I did write Support directly but I don’t think they understood my question
Probably the simplest solution is to copy the memories to a single album or to multiple albums and then provide the address of these albums to descendants or relatives who will outlive both you and your parents. They then have access to all of the memories and can correctly link them to the deceased records in Family Tree. You are correct in that your entries for your parents will be hidden if you pass before they do and no one can access those living records you created after you are gone. You can learn about album's by reading the help center article below and those referenced in that article.
All memories are public but providing the link for others to find each photo, document or story is very time consuming. Placing them in album's simplifies that and only one link is required to see everything in the album.0
