Virginia Death Records

The first records lists the deceased's occupation as "None". Should I mark the corresponding field blank? Nothing in the Field Help or PI references "None".

    I would type the occupation as it is written: None.

    The field help says: Type the occupation as it was written. Do not correct misspellings or expand abbreviations.

    This is the same wording as the field help for the Cause of Death and I noted in one of the examples that Unknown is indexed there.

    Since these are in alphabetical order, I would index that first name as Uhler. The U also looks like the U in Unknown.
