The left side of the 1867 page (Italian) has the subject: communication of a decree from the bishop to add a marriage notation to the parish books. The right side says it is for the marriage of Biagio Tobia and Giovanna Prado daughter of Gaspare and of Benedetta Accardo, found in the archive of the congregation of charity (home for the destitute) in Calatafimi and should be transcribed word for word.
The next page (Latin) has the marriage record (actually, an extract of the marriage record created in 1857, probably for some another reason, maybe for another marriage). It was on 2 Dec 1815 at the Chiesa di San Giuliano Martire. Banns posted 19, 26, and 30 Nov. Groom Biagio Tobia son of Francesco and Giovanna Giurintano. Bride Giovanna Prado daughter of Gaspare and Benedetta Accardo. Witnesses Nicola Bardo(?) and Vito Gallo. Mass of celebration and blessing on the 3rd.

I am presuming that the marriage was missed in the register for that day. And has been entered many years later. It is the first time I have found this, I also notice that the marriage was mentioned on the page before the one I showed. I am at a loss to understand most of the written report. Can you understand it?

I do not read Italian, so can't be of any help! This is the Indexing group to help with questions about how to index documents. I think you should pose your questions in the group called Italy Genealogy Research. But, since you are here, I am going to tag @Hoopes Fred Russell because I know he works on Italian Indexing and speaks Italian. Also, I'm hoping that @Cousin Vinny will see this as I have seen him help people with Italian translations.
Best wishes on your search for the true marriage date of Biagio and Giovanna!

Hi @Hoopes Fred Russell . Thanks for taking a look. I think when you click on the blue link at the bottom of the image, it takes you to the page that has the dates and the written report that @lizcusack mentions in the comments.

The page that I think mentions the updated or lost record is: https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/3:1:3Q9M-CS8D-H72C-T?i=463&cat=730834 as printed below
The following page at https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/3:1:3Q9M-CS8D-H774-6?i=464&cat=730834

I can't understand the whole document, but I wonder if I am correct and it is a type of amendment.

Thank you so much Vinny, this is only the second time I have found a belated entry, but there seemed so much written about it that it had me very confused. I really appreciate you taking the time to help me with this. Thank you again. Lynne
