Family Search has Finetta Stroud as Finetta Leatherwood (born Calvert) shown as a Historical Record.
This is wrong...it looks like there is one that married a Calvert...see below..
I don't believe that this is our Finetta Stroud that married William L. Leatherwood
Our Finetta Stroud's parents are UNKNOWN
She was: born 14 Feb 1798 in VA
She didn't die until abt 1860 in Theo, Alcorn Co, MS
Our Finetta Stroud's parents are NOT "Calvert" & "Burton".
The other Finetta Stroud (?) may have been b. 1814 in KY - d. 1880 in TN
She married Andrew Calvert in 1834 & had her first child in 1836 (she had 7 of them).
Her parents are also UNKNOWN . . . See her FAG Mem#192254583

Some number of Wallace family records dating to the 12th century are being absolutely mangled by a few people. Case in point, one such giving Malcolm, Alan or Richard Wallace as the husband, Margaret Jean Crawford as the wife. Malcolm Wallace is the name given by Blind Harry's poem for the father of William "Braveheart" Wallace, now known to be inaccurate; Harry also names the mother as the Crawford daughter of the sheriff, no known first name given.
Others now also show up with "Malcolm" as the newly applied first name for Alan Wallace, John Wallace and Thomas Wallace, none of these known by such names during their lifetimes. Is there some additional indicator that can be given for such records beyond "Partner trees"? Records noted here are seriously flawed historically.
