Our family member has now been dead 1 year. I opened up to print out the temple work and found it shows he had not been baptized. Well, he has, and was even assigned home teachers at the time. Problem is his wife gave permission for the temple work to be done but does not have a copy of his membership record. Does that mean his baptism needs to be done again?

thanks,

Michelle

I know that a person was baptized, how do I let someone know to find the information?

There used to be a place to send information to, can't find the connection anymore.

    Sorry for your loss.

    Have you contacted ward clerk?

    there are a few possibilties.

one - the ward clerk has yet to record him as baptized/deceased

or that the record you are looking at needs to be merged with another duplicate record linked to his ward membership.
