What happens when an SS ordinance is reserved, but the record is merged with another record?

I had created a person in FamilySearch on Nov 3, 2021 because no good match was found. I established birth, death, and a marriage, all backed up with sources. Another user reserved the SS ordinance on Nov 12, 2021 and shared with the temple.

Having continued research in this line, I've since found a duplicate of the person (female) created on Nov. 3. I inspected all sources for both records and concluded with very good confidence they are the same person. I did a merge by ID, taking newer details from the record I created and kept the other record (it had siblings, etc.).

What happens to the SS ordinance for the record that was merged and deleted? Will that ordinance be performed for a "deleted" record/person?

    Hi Jason.

The quickest way for you to find the answer, is to check the ordinances for your new record!

A name and ID would help us, too
