Introduction to indexing
I'm giving a workshop on indexing. Does anyone have a joke about indexing that I can use as a warm up for my class?

I don't really have a joke, but this might give you an idea. My wife and I decided to learn how to juggle years ago and the first thing our instructor said was to hold all three balls, lift them over our heads...then drop them on the floor. He said, "You're going to become an expert at this move for a long time...so remember to have patience!" He was right. I used the same approach when I started indexing. Patience is the right approach, because we all make mistakes! Just take your time, don't get discouraged and enjoy the process. The blessings will come and so will your testimony of this great work!

Question: What did the Reviewer say to the hesitant new Indexer?
Answer: “Don’t worry, I have your back.”
Question: What did the mysterious Field Help question mark say to the new Indexer?
Answer: “Click on me, and master indexing secrets will be revealed.”
Question: What did the lowly last section of the Project Instructions - The General Indexing Guidelines (GIG) - say to the new Indexer?
Answer: “Read Me. Rinse. Repeat.”
