Nominate a project for indexing
I am doing family history research. I see that there are several films/project in my interest which have not been indexed yet.
I am more than happy to help indexing and reviewing project in general, but I could work on ones which are even helpful for for me and my relatives.
Who decides which project comes next in a specific country?

Individuals and groups cannot nominate projects for indexing. Here are two links that explain this:

Opinion: If you are aware of records relevant to your ancestors which FamilySearch has images but not yet indexed - if the images are accessible in the system - you can attach the record images to those ancestors prior to the index project. At least then the records will be attached - although Familysearch Family Tree will not subsequently attach those records after the project is indexed (a little disappointing but understandable). If Familysearch does not have images or access to the records - perhaps your project of permission from the record custodian and subsequent attachment in Family Tree can also be most profitable for your ancestors in the Tree.

Thanks for both of you.
Yes, the films are available and I searched them visually one-by-one, but when I run into a new name, relation, I should start it again. This is why it would be better to have it indexed and searchable :-)
