child to parent sealing

My husband and I were sealed and endowed at the Los Angeles in 1981. My husband passed away in January 2021 before being sealed to his parents. Do we still have to wait a year to perform his ordinance?

Thank you,

@Vickiz , Generally, yes you will need to wait the 1 year unless there are special circumstances like he had a sealing appointment already etc. Church handbook 28.1 and special circumstances 28.3. Also there is a Help article, #987 Performing Ordinances less than a year after death.

    Welcome to the "Community.FamilySearch" Forum.

    I am just another 'lowly' User/Patron ...

[ And, I happen to be a Member of the Church ... ]

Further to what 'Chas' has already proffered ...

Just for ease of access ...

Here, is a direct link, to that "Knowledge Article", in 'FamilySearch':

Performing ordinances less than a year after death

I hope this may also help/assist.
