Message box does not give any indication of further information

If you create a message by clicking on the Message icon in the upper right part of the screen, and then create a Message either by responding to a Message or just creating a new Message, the Message area will expand to show 26 lines. However, if your Message is longer than 26 lines, there is no indication to show that a portion of your Message is not being displayed on the screen and you cannot scroll through the Message. The up and down arrows must be used to get to other parts of the message. This is poor design. A better design would be to create a scroll bar after reaching the maximum number of display lines so that the user can more easily scroll through the Message and to indicate additional content beyond the 26 displayed lines.

    @McConnellCurtisWilliam56

    FYI

    I am just another 'lowly' User/Patron ...

    Just in passing ...

    I am just curious ...

    Regarding "Messages" ...

    Question: WHAT "Part" of 'FamilySearch" are you referencing?

    ▬ "User Messaging", in 'FamilySearch'

    OR.

    ▬ (Private) 'Messaging', in this "Community.FamilySearch" Forum.

    As, they are, separate; and, distinct, from each other ...

    Please advise.

    My suggestion is regarding "User Messaging" in FamilySearch, not (private) messaging associated with the Community.

    @McConnellCurtisWilliam56

    FYI

    Just in passing ...

    And, just referencing the ORIGINAL "Computer" Web version, of 'FamilySearch' ...

    [ And, NOT, the "Mobile" Application version, of 'FamilySearch' ... ]

    That is rather ODD ...

    I just checked, through some of my 'Messages', in "User Messages", of 'FamilySearch' ...

    I have a number of 'Messages', that are much GREATER than x26 Lines, that you indicate/reference ...

    ie. separate lines, of actual 'unbroken' (lines) of "Text" ...

    One was x27; &, others x28; &, x29; &, x32; &, x37; &, x38; &, x39; &, x40; &, x41; &, x42; &, x43 ...

    And, there IS, a "Slider" (ie. "Slide Bar"), on the 'right-hand-side', of those 'Messages"; so that, I can go, 'up and down', of the ENTIRE 'Message', not only may parts, of the 'Message'.

    I do not know, if this makes any difference ...

    I always prepare, my LARGER 'Messages' in a "Text Editor", first; and, then just "Copy" and "Paste, those LARGE 'Messages', into "User Messaging", of 'FamilySearch'.

    Plus, I mainly use, the "Browser", of 'Google' "Chrome", with the "Operating System" of 'Microsoft' "Windows 10"; where, they are using the up-to-date versions of those.

    But, I also just checked in, the "Browser", of 'Mozilla' "FireFox", which gave me the same result.

    Question: What, "Browser"; and, "Operating System", are you using?

    [ And, are they using the LATEST version (or, at least, the PREVIOUS version), of those? ]

    And ...

    An "Oldie"; but, STILL, often a "Goodie" ...

    Have you tried "Clearing" the, "Cookies"; &, "Cache", of your "Browser" (&, sometimes, "Browsing History")?

    Often; but, not always, that works, to "Reset" things.

    Just my thoughts.

    Brett
