The records for the George A Shaull family in the 1900 US Federal Population Census appears to be significantly incorrectly indexed (or else the display page is having major problems).

The hyperlink for George A Shaull is https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:M3HD-FR3?q.anyPlace=vernon%2C%20missouri%2C%20united%20states&q.givenName=george%20a%20&q.surname=shaull

The family appears in the original census images (1900, Vernon County, Missouri, ED130, Harrison Township, Sheets 2A and 2B) linked below:

and

https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/3:1:S3HT-6SFW-4PQ?i=3&cc=1325221&personaUrl=%2Fark%3A%2F61903%2F1%3A1%3AM3HD-FR3 )

The family should be indexed as (names/relationship/ages only shown below)

Dwelling #34, Family #34

SHAULL, George A, Head, Sep 1841, 58

SHAULL, Bettie, Wife, Nov 1845, 54

SHAULL, Zoe W, daughter, Nov 1881, 18

SHAULL, Claude, son, Feb 1884, 16

SHAULL, Anna, daughter, Oct 1886, 13

There appears to be no easy way to edit the records as displayed on the original link in the 1900 census for George A. Shaull. How can we get this fixed so that this family is correctly indexed and correctly displayed?

@N Tychonievich Another 1900 census, please. Thanks.

@Jennifer Lyon_2 there is a known issue with the index of the 1900 census. See this thread, among others: https://community.familysearch.org/en/discussion/111793/a-gremlin-in-the-1900-us-census-kearny-new-jersey#latest

    @Jennifer Lyon_2

Thank you for the report of the problems with the 1900 US Census. The issues have been reported to the engineers. We do not need additional reports as they now have ample examples to use when they get back from Christmas break and start trying to track down and resolve the problem.

A work-around you can try while you wait is to pull up the census image and add it to your source box. From there you can attach the census image as a source to each family member. To add the image to your source box, look in the top-right of the image viewer and click Source Box. Here are instructions for how to attach from Source Box.

From my source box, how do I attach a source to a person in Family Tree? • FamilySearch

From your source box, you can find a person in Family Tree and attach a source to him or her.

    Sorry for the mess!
