Thank you everyone for the replies.
I contacted the helpline and she had my clear the cookies. That solved the problem. She suggested clearing them every couple of weeks. Seeing as I hadn't cleared them in three years BINGO

I've had the occasional issue. Clearing my browser cache normally resolves the issue.

There is a recognised problem with attaching 1900 US census sources, but I have not found any general problems, either myself or in reports from other users.

Resetting your cookies might help as well; -
Just click on the link to the page and then click 'yes.' It won't fix everything but it can be very useful. I have this page bookmarked and try to remember to do it fairly regularly.
All the best

I have had issues for a week. Cleared the cookies more than once, to no avail. I am finding this to be very frustrating.

I am just another 'lowly' User/Patron ...
Just in passing ...
As, the aforementioned is the case ...
Then ...
Question(s):
WHAT, "Browsers"; and, "Operating System" are you using?
Are, they using the LATEST (or, previous) "Versions", of BOTH?
IF, the "Versions" of, "the Browser(s)"; and, the "Operating System", are OLD and NOT up-to-date ...
One may encounter, problems/issues ...
Just a thought.

They're often grouped together, but cookies and cache aren't the same thing, and these sorts of problems are most often cache-related: your browser "helpfully" saves pages you visit, and if you visit them again, it pulls up the saved page instead of getting it again. This saves time and bandwidth, but if the saved version had an error (glitch, timeout, whatever), then you have to jump through the hoops and give the browser a thwack upside the head. For some reason, FS pages are particularly prone to glitches and timeouts.
