US, Missouri—County Marriages, 1806–1969 [Part O] [M9LV-WV8]-which number is right?
Good evening, friends!
Today I started to index this batch. At first I thought that "reference number" is the page number and print "80."
Later, I reread the project instruction and have a doubt- maybe I should include the number of the volume (106, 104, etc.)"? Or two things- the volume number and the page number where the marriage record was written?
Help me, please, to index the batch correctly.
With love, Larisa V.

@larisaveselova Hi. In the project instructions "What to remember about this project" you will find the following instructions: If multiple reference numbers are recorded, only type 1 of them in the reference number field, based on the following priority:
- License or certificate number
- Record or volume number
- Page number
I do hope this helps you with your indexing and thank you for helping families to find information about their loved ones.

Since you have a license number, that is the reference number. The Field Help has the priority list of what to index in the field:
Type the page number, record number, license number, or certificate number as it was written.
If multiple reference numbers are recorded, only type 1 of them in this field based on the following priority:
- License or certificate number
- Record or volume number
- Page number
