Unable to share reserved ordinances with the temple
Hello,
I'm encountering a problem on the temple reservations page where it will not allow me to share reserved ordinances with the temple. The "Share" button remains grayed out when I select people from the list, leaving Print and Unreserve as my only options.
Any ideas why this might be happening? Thanks in advance.
Edit: Taking a closer look, it appears I am unable to share with the temple ordinances that are on my reserved list but have been reserved by someone else. It's a little puzzling as to why reservations that belong to someone else are showing up on my reserved list, but that does explain why I can't share those ordinances with the temple.

@Teresa Arispe , did you, at sometime in the the past, reserved some names off the temple list? Usually you only have 90 days to complete the ordinances, but because of Covid the expiration dates are on hold, so it's possible those names showing on your Reserve list & can't share with the temple, were names you had previously taken many months ago from the shared temple list. In that case, the original person reserving the name will show on you reserved list.

Thank you for bringing your concern to the Community.
it would be easier for us to assist you if we had a bit more information, but here is something that is confusing a number of our guests. Once an ordinance has been shared with the temple once, it cannot be shared again. If you reserve a name that has already been shared with the temple, you cannot share that name with the temple again. Nor can you share it with a family group. Attempting either thing results in an error message. For ordinances affected by this you may see a notification next to a person's name on your Temple list that says, "Ordinances that were previously shared with the temple cannot be shared again".
We hope this has been useful to you. If it does not answer your question please ask for help again or contact us by phone or chat.
Merry Christmas.

Here's another idea that may help. We have discovered that if you start selecting names to Share with the Temple from the top of the first page of your My Reservations list, the Share link will stay gray and not allow you to share. If you scroll to the bottom of the page and begin selecting names from the bottom and work your way up, the Share link will remain blue and you will be able to share with the Temple or with Family and Friends.
We have also discovered if you select the entire page at once by putting a check-mark by the word Person at the top of the list, you can also share the entire page of names.
We do not know why it works that way, only that we have tested it several times.
We hope this helps.

Thank you for your insights! It is possible that I took some names from the shared temple list. Looking at the names, I think many of these were also people I shared the names with at some point in the past and they haven't gotten around to the ordinances yet.

Thank you! That is good to know. I will try that.

Thank you for clarifying! I will take a closer look at my reserved names and identify which of them I already shared with the temple. Merry Christmas!
