Im the only member of the church of my extended family.

My stepfather as a daughter, died last year,

we were very close, I consider her a sister,

but when I add her to the system, don`t let me perform temple ordinances for her, because I`m not a direct family member, and his father gives my writing permission to perform temple ordinances in favor of his daughter.

there is any way to solve this situation? please let my know if you know the answer. thanks

You will need to go to the person page of the person and request the ordinances just as you would for a direct relation under the 110 year rule. There is an article in the FamilySearch Help Center that will assist you. Click on the link below and it will take you to the article.

How do I request ordinances for an ancestor who was born in the last 110 years?
