Can you change the order of a merge

Joseph Bamford, 1800 – 27 March 1870 • MH6X-4Z4 is a duplicate to Joseph Bamford

1800 – 27 March 1870 • MDVK-KY7. The first Joseph has had all of the ordinances completed except sealing to spouse in 1978-79. However, when I try to merge these two they can only be done with Joseph Bamford MH6X-4Z4 losing his information. I merged them and the temple ordinances did not transfer. The older dates were not transferred and the Sealing to Parents still needed to be done. Can you merge these so the oldest ordinances are showing and the S to P shows as well?

    After the two records are merged again, we can send the case in to get the ordinances, if the didn't show up. This message came from a supervisor.

    @JBurgi

    Thank you for posting in the Community about merging Joseph Bamford's records, and the ordinance issue. Please merge them again, and then let us know. We will then be able to forward you case about the missing ordinances.

    Thank you for you careful work in Family Tree.

    I don't understand why you want me to merge them again. I had this same problem with another person last week and it was correctly merged by FamilySearch.
