How to get permission for Temple work from non-member children of deceased members

Member has died without Temple ordinances. His surviving relative is his daughter who is not a member. I've done this before with others and got permission, but now it says I am not related - the end!

    Good morning @DennisCooper1 ,

    You need to obtain permission from the daughter and if you do, when you try to reserve the ordinance, you click that you have received permission and will then be contacted to provide contact details of the living relative who gave permission. If this isn't the case, then please feel free to reply to this thread 🙂

    Check out the attached article for help with the wording of permission.

    It doesn't work for me. I click on request permission. I then get asked if I'm a relative or not as it detects that I'm not related on the tree. I cannot go any further.

    @DennisCooper1

    Your request for the ordinances for a friend will be forwarded to specialty team for review and resolution. You may be contacted by that team if they need more information.

    Hi, a month has gone by and I haven't been contacted by a specialty team for review and resolution. Have I got permission yet for Trevor and his wife?
