How do you find the possible duplicates in the helper section?

I have clicked on numerous names that are listed and cannot find any "possible duplicates". There are no flags in the "research help" section of the listed name, No listings in the tools section under "possible duplicates". No "similar people" in the tools section. I have tried looking at the spouses of the named person to see if there is an entry with a different variation of a name that could be merged.

Can I still take a name to the temple if it is listed in this section even though I cannot find a "possible duplicate"?

Thank you,

Brian Marti

    I am just another 'lowly' User/Patron ...

[ And, I happen to be a Member of the Church ... ]

I am somewhat confused with your original 'Question'.

Question: What do you mean by "... in the helper section"?

Are you referring to; being, the "Helper" of ANOTHER User/Patron, through either,

    (1) "Help Others"?; and/or,

    (2) the (Consultant) "Planner"?

    Please advise/clarify.

    Now ...

    That Said ...

    Whereas ...

IF, you are referring to yourself, rather than another User/patron; and, you have confirmed, that there are not any "Possible" DUPLICATES through:

    (1) "Research Help"; and,

    (2) "Tools" (ie. "Possible Duplicates" ); and,

    (3) "Tools" (ie. "Find Similar People"); and,

    (4) Appear to have done, all you can do; and, your 'due diligence';

THEN, I would humbly suggest, that the answer to your 'Question', is 'Yes'.

    Again, curious ...

Question: What do mean by if it is listed in this section even though I cannot find a "possible duplicate"?

Or, are you referring to a "Possible" DUPLICATE, in/through the "Ordinances" 'Tab' of an individual/person?

And, if such is the case, have you:

    (1) 'looked' at; and/or,

    (2) tried to "Merge"/"Combine",

the "Possible" DUPLICATE, in/through the "Ordinances" 'Tab', using the 'FamilySearch Person identifier' (PID).

    As an aside ...

Here is a "Knowledge Article", in 'FamilySearch':

How do I find duplicates in Family Tree if they do not appear in the possible duplicates list?

    https://www.familysearch.org/en/help/helpcenter/article/how-do-i-find-duplicates-in-family-tree-if-they-do-not-appear-in-the-possible-duplicates-list

    https://www.familysearch.org/en/help/helpcenter/article/how-do-i-find-duplicates-in-family-tree-if-they-do-not-appear-in-the-possible-duplicates-list

I hope that this may help/assist, somewhat.

    Brett
