Wrong Gender and Ordinances already commenced

Hi

Francis Allanson (L4TJ-BBD), son of Christopher Allanson was assumed to be a male, probably due to the spelling of his name.

B, C and I have been done so far.

another researcher believes this person should be a female. I found images of a transcribed version of the parish register where the christening date was found. The transcript states the child was a daughter, not a son, and name was spelt Frauncis.

I am not sure if the person who questioned this, and got in touch is a member, so is it best to simply create a new version of Frauncis (female) Allanson, and attach the source to her, and submit for ordinance work, or go through the slower process of changing the gender of the Male version, and resubmitting for Temple work?

Thanks

Brian

    Hi Brian. Checking that record.

We have removed the ordinances for Francis Allanson (L4TJ-BBD)

Please change the sex to Female in family Tree, and your can then proceed to complete her ordinances
