Question on date
I'm reviewing UK, England, Diocese of Blackburn—Church of England Parish Registers, 1813–2021 [Part B][M3N6-JS8]
The batch shows the normal date for the baptism, but there is an additional date in small numerals just below that and the indexer has listed that as the birth date. However, there is nothing to indicate that it is the DOB. There is nothing in the project instructions to index that additional date as the DOB. Do I delete the additional date since there is nothing to indicate it is the DOB?

My experience is that other date is the DOB. Most of the batches that I've done have this second date identified as "birth" or "born". Occasionally I run across a batch without the label. I go ahead and record or leave the date as DOB.
(I don't have the authority to make the decision. I'm sure an authorized person will respond to your question.)

You may find the first example in the Project Instructions, What to Index helpful. In the example a second date is in the margin to the left of the baptism date. Both dates are indexed. The column in the margin does have a note at the top saying birth but it appears quite similar to your batch.
