I see this message for Emma E. Triggs M3VZ-VMV :

Can you give me more information please?

    @LAHS6

    G'Day, again ...

    I just took a quick 'look' at, Emma E. TRIGGS ( M3VZ-VMV ) ...

    [ As, I am "Related" to, Emma E. TRIGGS ( M3VZ-VMV ) ... ]

    In the "ChangeLog": https://www.familysearch.org/tree/person/changelog/M3VZ-VMV/merges

    You will notice that there was a "Merge"/"Combine", done on "20 October 2019", with TRIGGS ( G9XD-LTN )

    [ Where, for the latter there, is NO 'Given'/'Christian' "Name(s) ... ]

    Plus, I took a 'look', at the "ChangeLog", for TRIGGS ( G9XD-LTN ).

    https://www.familysearch.org/tree/person/changelog/G9XD-LTN/sex

    Unfortunately, there was a "Change", in "Gender", for TRIGGS ( G9XD-LTN ):

    ▬ From the ORIGINAL "Gender", with the 'Status' of 'Male' ...

    ▬ To a CHANGED "Gender", to the "Status' of 'Female' ...

    Due to the aforementioned "Change" in "Gender", for TRIGGS ( G9XD-LTN ) ...

    Hence, WHY, the matter needs to be investigated by 'FamilySearch', to ensure that the "Temple" Work, for the CORRECT "Gender" is applied (ie. Showing/Displayed).

    I know that this certainly does not help/assist (as, you ONLY want to know, the actual 'Status'); but, I hope that this gives you some, insight; and, perspective.

    @Brett

    Thanks for the perspective. Interesting that we are both related to Emma Triggs  M3VZ-VMV, If I understood you correctly. :)

    Hopefully, a FamilySearch support person will see my question.

    @LAHS6

    Cuz

    IF, one's "Ancestral" Lines, are EXTENSIVE enough, it is NOT surprising, that one WILL be "Related" to, MANY; Many; many, other ("Living") Users/Patrons.

    You would not believe, the amount of People, from many Countries, from all around the World, that we came in contact with, who we were actually "Related" to, when we travelled the World, not so long ago.

    Some of those People, we met by pure happenstance, on a "Sunday", in Church, at a 'Sacrament Meeting'.

    The World maybe SMALL ...

    But, the World, when it comes to Genealogy/Family History, is even SMALLER - And, especially, in the Church.

    Plus, it does not matter, how "Distant", that "Relationship", might be ... we are STILL "Cousins" ...

    [ Just "Extended" Family ... ]

    @dontiknowyou

    FYI

    Just in passing ...

    You are, somewhat, correct ...

    'Yes', this is the "Community.FamilySearch" Forum ...

    And, 'Yes', Users/Patrons certainly can, contact 'FamilySearch' "Support", directly via/through either,

    (1) the Telephone; and/or,

    (2) a "Live" ('On-Line') "Chat",

    if they so desire.

    But ...

    That Said ...

    Perhaps, you do not understand ...

    Please be aware, that this 'Category' of "Temple", in "FamilySearch Help", of this "Community.FamilySearch" Forum, is ALSO another; and, a CORRECT place, for Users/Patrons, who are Members of the Church, to raise matters (ie. including: problems/issues) pertaining to "Temple" Work, regarding the "Tenets" of the Church, that we follow.

    In many of those cases, that have been submitted; because, of the nature of the matters (ie. including: problems/issues), they WILL need to be, investigated; and, addressed/fixed by 'FamilySearch'.

    But ...

    That Said ...

    There is certainly nothing wrong, with providing, information and perspective, in the form of 'Comments', by OTHER Users/Patrons; especially, those who are Members of the Church; as, the matters pertains to "Temple" Work, regarding the "Tenets" of the Church, that we follow; and, such can certainly be included.

    [ And, especially, when one is "Related", to the individuals/persons concerned, contained in the posts ... ]

    As an aside ...

    Considering, this 'Category' of "Temple", in "FamilySearch Help", of this "Community.FamilySearch" Forum, pertains to "Temple" Work, regarding the "Tenets" of the Church, that we follow, there is really NO need for Users/Patrons, who are not members of the Church, to get involved in this particular 'Category'.

    In fact, many Users/Patrons, who are not members of the Church, prefer to neither, 'see' posts; and/or, to get involved in posts, in this particular 'Category' of "Temple", in "FamilySearch Help", of this "Community.FamilySearch" Forum, which pertains to "Temple" Work, regarding the "Tenets" of the Church that we follow.

    Just my thoughts.
