A difficult question... need someone's personal experience to get through the redtape
I am male, and was a companion (not spouse) for thirty-five years to the person whose work I'm trying to arrange to be done. Obviously a female would be required to do the deceased's temple work, however, I'm trying to just get the approval so I can arrange for that to be done. The deceased asked me personally, before her passing, to promise that I would get her temple work done. She has no living heirs. Husband (deceased 1978) and only brother deceased (2010). They had no children. Brother has 3 children (non-members), all antagonistic towards religion and that is why deceased requested me to do her work. She even left me a Uniform Statutory Form Power of Attorney (under Calif. Probate Code Section 4401) listing me with full Power of Attorney rights. She was never able to be baptized before her death but made it known to CA SD Mission President, as well as Bishop of La Mesa Ward and many others of her desire to be baptized and sealed to her husband. I have a letter indicating the attempts she made prior to her death to get this arranged. She attended church for years with me and repeatedly requested me to do her work. How can I take care of her wishes. Who can I send this information to in order to get her temple work done? Please help. If there is someone I can send this to directly please advise. Thanks for anything you can do!
