300 name temple reservation limit--unable to share with temple and family

Good morning,

I am trying to whittle down my temple reservation list to 300, and I do understand the reasoning behind it. However, two things have happened.

First, I can no longer reserve a name in order to share it with the temple or my family members. Perhaps this can be remedied by only offering share with temple or family, or even share with temple. I am worried I will lose the name that needs the work completed if it isn't reserved somewhere.

Second, I tried to send my daughter names for baptisms, but several didn't go through because I had picked them up from a shared with the temple reservation. It would be great if we could access these names and then pass them to family members who need the names.

Thank you to all who work diligently to improve our ability to research on family search, find our ancestors, and do their temple work. You all are amazing!

Jodi

    "Second, I tried to send my daughter names for baptisms, but several didn't go through because I had picked them up from a shared with the temple reservation."

    On your temple reservation list, underneath the "date reserved" , is a note: "Ordinances that were previously shared with the temple cannot be shared again."

    You cannot share to your daughter these particular ordinances. Your options are to either keep these 90-day reservations & do them, or unreserved them. If you unreserve them, they will go back into the temple system as they were when you reserved them.

    'Hope this help. :)

    @JodiHansen1 ,As a workaround,

    You can Print to a PDF file rather than a Printer then email the PDF as an attachment to your daughter or print the cards and snail mail them.

    @JodiHansen1

    You can also just have your daughter use her own FamilySearch account. She can run Ordinances Ready and get the ordinances she needs for baptisms. You can also share ordinances to her directly. She can also find those same green temples in the Tree and reserve them to her own list.
