Why implement this policy during the pandemic when most of us have had little or no access to do tem

The timing of this policy is insensitive.

Which policy are you talking about?

Nothing on your "My Reservations" list is currently expiring with the temples in various open phases. When all of the temples are in phase 4 (regular operations), then the expirations will start again. No ordinance will have less than 90 days. If you have ordinances reserved with 2 years, you will still have 2 years when the temples are in phase 4. If you had ordinances that had 18 months when the temples closed, you will still have 18 months when the expirations start again.
If you are over the 300 row limit in your "My Reservation" list, you will not lose any of those reservations that you now have (until they expire).
If you want to add more reservations to your list and you are over the 300 row limit right now, then in order to do so, you will need to either share those on your list to the Shared temple list, or you will need to share them directly to others, or you will need to release them. You will have to be below 300 rows in order to add more to your list. It you don't want to add any more right now, then just work on the ones you already have and nothing will have changed for you.

FYI
Just in passing ...
And, respectfully ...
This is the 'Category' of "Temple", under 'FamilySearch' Help, in this this "Community.FamilySearch" Forum.
As, you would be very well aware, this 'Category' of "Temple", pertains to "Temple" Work, relative to the 'Tenets' of the Church, that; as, Member of the Church, we follow; and, thus, is ONLY really relative, to Users/Patrons, who are Members of the Church.
As such ...
Despite, the somewhat 'cryptic' nature, of this post; especially, to those Users/Patrons, who are not members of the Church ...
In this Forum, many of us regular Users/Patrons, who are Members of the Church, know EXACTLY to what "Policy", to which 'Linda' is referring - hence, no real explanation needed.
The matter, is certainly, NOTHING, of significance, that Users/Patrons, who are not members of the Church, need to concern themselves.
Again, respectfully ...
Just my thoughts

I did not notice the category. If I had I would have responded differently or not at all.

IF, you 'saw', that particular post, from "Recent Discussions"; THEN, the 'Categories', can easily be missed.
[ Done the same myself, until I realised what the 'Category' was ... ]
Whereas ...
IF, you were 'notified' of, that particular post, from/through either, (1) the "Notifications" 'Bell'; or, (2) an "Email"; THEN, of course, as you will be aware, you can 'Turn' that 'Category' OFF, in your "Preferences", in the "Community.FamilySearch' Forum.
[ I have some, 'Turned' OFF, seems to work ... ]
Just a thought.
Brett
ps; in "Recent Discussions", I would rather 'see', the "Name" of the 'Group', instead of just "Social Groups".
