Is the new Family Groups feature active?

When I click on Temple, then Family Groups, I am taken to My Reservations. There is no option to create a group.

Windows 10. Tested on: Edge, Chrome, Firefox.

I just clicked on my name in the upper right hand corner of the screen and Family Groups was in that menu also so I tried it. It worked.

FamilySearch.org support the problem is in Temple menu.

It should have gone live on 1 November. But I get the same result as you so there must be a glitch somewhere. Hopefully it will be resolved in the near future.

    Paul

    I am just another 'lowly' User/Patron ...

    Just in passing ...

Unlike, you; and, 'Graham', I must be one of the lucky one's ...

I "Created" a ("Family") "Group", yesterday, (am) Sunday, 14 November 2021 my 'Local' time [ UTC +11 Hours ].

And, even this morning Monday 15 November 2021, when I select that "Family Groups", from the 'Drop Down' Menu, under my '"Display Name", I am taken to:

    https://www.familysearch.org/groups/family

And, the ("Family") "Group" that I "Created", appears.

    Perhaps ...

That "Family Groups" feature/facility/function, is not working, at present; especially, for those Users/Patrons, who have not already "Created" a ("Family") "Group"; because, 'FamilySearch' is, doing some "Maintenance"; and/or, addressing/fixing some problem/issue.

    As an aside ...

    Just in case ...

There is, NO "Maintenance"; and/or, addressing/fixing some problem/issue, in the "Family Groups" feature/facility/function, by 'FamilySearch' ...

In relation to, the ORIGINAL "Web" version, of "Family Tree", of 'FamilySearch'; and, NOT, the "Mobile" Application version ...

Can I humbly suggest, that you might TRY, the "Oldie"; but, more often than not, a "Goodie" ...

"Clearing", the "Cache" and "Cookies", of your "Browser" (and, even, the "Browsing History")

Here are some "Knowledge Articles", in 'FamilySearch':

    Good Luck.

I hope this might help/assist, somewhat.

I found that it works on my iPhone. Having tried three browsers I would think it wasn't a cache issue, but it is painless to try.

Just tried again. It is still not working via the Temple menu but, as Paul says, it works if you click your name in the top right hand corner.

    @PaulODonnell

    Paul

    I am sorry ...

I was trying to do; and, too many things going on, at once ...

I forget to add, to/in my post ...

▬ In the case of the ORIGINAL "Web" version, of "Family Tree", of 'FamilySearch' ...

▬ As opposed to, the "Mobile" Application version, of "Family Tree", of 'FamilySearch', which differs ...

That "Family Groups", are NOT "Created", from one's "Temple" 'Tab'.

That "Family Groups", are ONLY "Created", from the "Family Groups" option, under one's "Display Name".

IF, one has NEITHER, "Created"; and/or, (yet) "Joined", a "Family Group"; THEN, by "Default", the "System", SIMPLY takes one, to their "Reservations" List; as, there is NO "Family Group", associated to/with them; and, of course, there is NO provision, to "Create" a "Family Group".

    Whereas ...

    Conversely ...

IF, one HAS either, "Created"; and/or, "Joined", a "Family Group"; THEN, under one's "Temple" 'Tab' 'there is a feature/facility/function, to "View Group", to which one IS associated.

    Temple _ Family Groups _ View Group _ 0 _ 15 November 2021.jpg

    But ...

    That Said ...

    Currently ...

BECAUSE one is ALREADY associated with a "Family Group"; then, there is NO provision, under the "Temple" 'Tab', to "Create" a (ie. another) "Family Group"; as, we can ONLY be, a member of ONE "Family Group", at a time.

    Again, 'Sorry' ...

    Brett

ps: In regards to the "Mobile" Application version, of "Family Tree", of 'FamilySearch', the "Family Groups", appear; and, are ONLY "Created", from the separate "Family Groups" option, on the 'Drop Down' Menu, under those "THREE (x3) Lines" Icon, on the TOP, 'Left-Hand Corner' of the page/screen.
