I need to know where records are.

My Brother in law has a record in family search,  LVKH-Z3N, but it is one that was added and is not from his church records, I believe. He was baptized as a child and was sealed to his parents also as a child. He was no longer an active member at his death so I have no idea where his records are. Can someone dive into a deep dark hole and see if they can find them so we can get his record combined and updated. It has been a year and I am sure his Daughter will want to complete his work.
