Locking your own ordinances
Someone just asked me if it’s possible to lock your own ordinances if you leave the church, to prevent them from being done when you pass away. Is that possible? Is there someone I should refer them to?

This article explains that those who withdraw their membership during their lifetime will require that others will need special permission to have ordinances done on their behalf: https://www.familysearch.org/en/help/helpcenter/article/when-should-i-obtain-permission-before-performing-ordinances-for-the-deceased
