The name "Children" prevents reserving ordinances
George Children - KL46-Q2W
John Children - GM1J-Q2W
George Children - 99FL-5DP
Helper No. 03387 - I just performed the Bap + Conf .. ordinances for these three persons and now the system states "This person's name contains one or more invalid words", and I can not print the cards for the next ordinance -- "Initiatory".
Also, will I have the same problem after I complete the Initiatory ordinance and request to print the Endowment cards?
What should I do?
Thank you, Gene Kammerman - [email protected]

I am just another 'lowly' User/Patron ...
[ And, I happen to be a Member of the Church ... ]
You are not alone ...
There are many post like yours ...
You have done, what you can do, by posting here, in this "Community.FamilySearch" Forum, under the 'Category' of "Temple".
Short Answer: 'Yes', the problem/issue, regarding "Temple" Work, relates to the "Name".
Specifically, in your case, the particular "Word" of "Children", in the 'Family Name' / 'Surname'.
And, 'Yes', 'Technically', we must "Request", for each individual/person, for each "Ordinance", in each and every case.
[ As, you have done here, in this particular post ... ]
Hopefully, a "Moderator" [ ie. 'FamilySearch' "Support" (Personnel) ], here in this Forum, will take this matter of yours, into the Workings, of 'FamilySearch' "Support", to better assist you.
As you are most likely aware ...
There are certain "Words", when used in the "Name" Field, of an individual/person, in "Family Tree", of 'FamilySearch', that evoke the, "Needs More Information"; and, contact 'FamilySearch', for "Temple" Work.
Individuals/Persons, in "Family Tree", of 'FamilySearch', whose "Name" Field, contains these certain "Words", need to be investigated by 'FamilySearch', in each and every case, prior to "Temple" Work being undertaken, to ensure that these certain "Words" are actually part of the individual's/person's "Name", rather than the contextual use of the "Words".
Just in case ...
Here is a "Knowledge Article" in 'FamilySearch':
What words and abbreviations cause "Needs more information" to appear?
And, remember, that list of "Words" (and "Abbreviations") is non-exhaustive, there are others.
As an aside ...
FYI
Again ... you are not alone ...
The matter, regarding "Invalid" Words, in 'Family Names'/'Surnames', was also raised recently; as, an "Idea" (ie. 'Feedback'):
Automate unblocking temple work for valid surnames in Family Tree that are in the invalid words list
Just a thought ...
You may wish to add your support to the aforementioned "Idea" (ie. 'Feedback').
Good Luck.
I hope, that you get the help/assist, you require.
Brett

You should be receiving the family ordinance cards for the names you requested in your email.
To avoid having to request additional cards you can do the following: (1) Print multiple copies of the cards so you will have a card for each ordinance. Or (2) Inform the temple worker before you start the session that you have a Family Ordinance Card and need it returned to complete additional ordinances.
