Can name cards be unreserved?
Hello, I have several family name cards that I inherited from my mother-in-law who has passed away 2 years ago. I would like to take them to the temple and continue the work, but they are still reserved under her name. Since the temple no longer returns physical family name cards to you, if I complete one ordinance, they will take the card from me and not return it. How do I complete the rest of the ordinances on that card and not lose track of the person? I cannot reprint the cards because my mother-in-law's family search account was suspended upon her passing. Can these names be unreserved from her account so I can reserve them under my own account? They don't expire for 2 more years and that is a rather long time to wait. I really want to get the ordinances completed.

There is an article in the FamilySearch Help Center that will assist you. Click on the link and it will take you there.
A person who reserved ordinances has died, is incapacitated, or had a withdrawal of membership

Here in the Community, you can ask a question under FamilySearch Help and the category: Temple.

Provide the PID and name of your mother-in-law, state that she is deceased and when, and ask that the ordinances that she had reserved be released back to the Tree. Support staff will release them and notify you. Then you will need to find them in the Tree and reserve them to your own list.

Hello @carriehinkle1,
If you want to keep track of the paper ordinance cards, you could photocopy them ahead of time for your own records.
Just an idea...
