I am researching in the catalog and the link to see a digital copy of an item is broken. It takes me to the Church History Website with no results.

    @MEPletsch

    I clicked on the link you provided and it took me to this page:

    Index of North Carolina Wills.JPG

    Then I clicked on the "here" and it brings me to this image:

    You may need to do a bit of maintenance on your browser. Here a few suggestions:

    You may need to clear cookies, make sure that your browser is up to date and you could try another browser.

    I will put links to those help articles here: https://www.familysearch.org/en/help/helpcenter/article/how-do-i-delete-all-of-the-cookies-and-temporary-files-stored-by-my-internet-browser

    https://www.familysearch.org/en/help/helpcenter/article/which-internet-browsers-are-compatible Notice that on the supported browsers you need to be on the most current or previous version.

    Regardless of the operating system you use, our website works with these fully supported browsers:

    • Apple Safari—the current version and one previous
    • Google Chrome—the current version and one previous
    • Microsoft Edge—the current version and one previous
    • Mozilla Firefox—the current version and one previous

    I suggest that you clear cookies at least once a week and make sure that your browser is up to date every 2 weeks.

    Also, make sure that your Operating System Windows or Mac are up to date.

    Hopefully one of these suggestions will help.

    Please respond back if you need further help.

    Thank you for contacting FamilySearch. It has been a pleasure helping you. Best wishes as you continue finding records for your family.

    @MEPletsch

    When I clicked the link you provided from the catalog, there is a link under film notes to take you to the book in question. Clicking that link took me to the digital online books.

    This 44-page book is available for public use and I was able to review the book without any problem. Please try going directly to the online book instead of working through the catalog page if you continue to have a problem with using the link on that page. Here is the URL for the online book:

    https://www.familysearch.org/library/books/records/item/565291-redirection

    As @CHold has already explained, if you are having problems viewing information online, you may need to perform routine browser maintenance.
