1. Sometimes a record has a duplicate, and when they are merged, the earliest ordinance reservation takes precedence. The following comes from this article https://www.familysearch.org/en/help/helpcenter/article/do-family-name-cards-expire

The family name card that you print for the temple does not expire, even if the reservation on FamilySearch does.

If you've had a family name card for more than a few weeks, please check Family Tree to confirm that the ancestor still needs the ordinance performed. The ordinance could have been shared with the temple, or someone else may have reserved it.

If so, you may simply destroy the family name card. It is no longer needed.

1. Someone may have had a printed card, and used it at the temple after the reservation expired. After expiration dates, reservations are Shared With the Temple, and you may have reserved that ordinance then. Reserved ordinances automatically expire on the date listed on your family names list. After that, they are shared with the temple, and other people can reserve them.
