Complaints are starting to roll in from Norwegian users of FamilySearch that I have connections with!

In the collection "Norway Church Books, 1815-1930" that was released about six months ago, records for infant christening/baptisms, (Norwegian: Dåp/Dåp) have all been tagged as baptisms. As has been the complaint with other collections, this causes the Source Linker to add this information under Other Information rather than Vitals, requiring the user to type the information into Vitals then delete it from Other Information. This added work is annoying people.

In these Lutheran parish records, 99.999% of these records are for children from a couple of days old to at most a couple of months and so do represent the substitute for birth event that the christening event under Vitals is meant to be. The older collection "Norway Baptisms, 1634-1927" has all these events tagged as christenings as they should be.

Please correct this flaw in this collection and re-tag all these baptisms to be christenings.

I would go further: please re-tag all events labeled as "baptisms" in all collections from continental Europe.

99.9999% of them are, in fact, christenings.
