In Batch M3Z9-N7B], should I make an entry for Prescott alone?

On the fourth line, it reads + Cross. I made an entry for Cross as a surname, with no other information. Does the + mean there was a Prescott with that? Should I do make an entry for Prescott as a surname, with no other information for that entry, like Cross? If so, do I do just one Prescott for the whole sheet, as there a couple other + entries?

I know I threw a lot out there; hope I said it well and that you can help. Thank you!

I wouldn't even index Cross, Delong, or Chapin since they appear to be companies associated with Prescott and the instructions say not to index companies. But, I definitely wouldn't create another blank record with just Prescott as a surname. The goal is to get people to the page so they can find their ancestors. An entry with just Prescott would not be much more helpful in a search than the 22 Prescott records already recorded for that page.
