WilliamsPatriciaDeane1 - the sealing to spouse involves two people so both have to be deceased before the ordinance will display in Family Tree. Otherwise it does provide information about a living person and privacy for living persons requires that no information on living is displayed.

Sealing won't display because you are living.

    The Church policy is:

Ordinances of living people are listed as "Not Available" in Family Tree for privacy reasons. Some examples are below:

    • Sealing to parents for a deceased individual whose parents are living.
    • Sealing to spouse for a deceased individual whose spouse is living.

Family Tree sometimes displays "BIC (Born in the Covenant)" for a living person's sealing to parents.

You can view membership and ordinance information for yourself and minors living in your household on ChurchofJesusChrist.org, in the Member Tools app, or through a ward or branch clerk.
