I am looking at my family tree and there are two listings for Elizabeth Welbourne. They have different codes but the birth year is the same for mother and daughter. It seems that the "Mother" has parents names listed. How would I go about finding out the correct information?

There is Elizabeth Welbourne LZK1-52M born in 1650 in Accomack Virginia British Colonia America. She died on 04 June 1706.

The daughter listed is Elizabeth Welbourne 9SCJ-NPL born abt 1650 in England.

I am new to this and have no clue how to find out figure this out.

    Thanks for your help!

Looking at the sources it is clear that Elizabeth Welbourne 9SCJ-NPL belongs in England. You can detach her from the colonial American parents on her Details page or theirs, in the Family Members section, to the right of her name, using the little pencil icon. Detach her from them, rather than detach them from her.
