lost ancestor

My records from my aunt show a child Has Luginbuehl born on 25 Mar 1594 in Grosshoechstetten bern switzerland to Peter Luginbuehl (LH2R-M19) and Ursula Luginbuehl (LH2R43B). He has 7 siblings which all show in Family search. He does not show in this family or anywhere else that I can find. However I have ordinance dates that seem to close to his siblings. Bapt.1 apr 1933, End 15 Nov 1933Logan and sealing to parents 2 Dec 1964 Logan. Can someone please look in the temple books and see if this is true and help me find him in family search? Thank you

@Sjohnson54,
Thank you for you post in the community about Has Luginbuehl, and his/her ordinances. In order to have an ordinance checked the team will need an ID number of the child, and see his connection to the parents in Family Tree. We suggest you add the child into the family, and then let us know the ID number, so the ordinances can be checked.
We look forward to helping you with this missing

This is an interesting situation and one that probably requires some additional research. There is a record for Hans Luginbuehl 1594 – Deceased • KVS2-FQJ that was merged with a sibling in 2014. That record is now Hans Luginbuehl K23X-WL5 This record shows a birth date of 31 March 1605. We cannot comment on whether the merge is incorrect or not because we know nothing about this family.
The 1594 record KVS2-FQJ has a specific christening date of --- 25 Mar 1594 in Grosshoechstetten, Bern, Swtz. But to add confusion to the issue there is another child - Peter Luginbuehl K4KP-5B5 who is shown as a sibling with a christening date of --- 20 Januar 1594 Grosshöchstetten, Bern, Schweiz. The two dates while not impossible do indicate that there may be an issue as children were usually christened within a few days of birth. We would suggest more research regarding these issues.
If you want to restore the subject record, you can search for the record in Family Tree using the ID KVS2-FQJ and there will be a "restore person" link on the page. See the article listed below.
We trust that the issues raised above will assist you in resolving the ordinance issue.

KVS2-FQJ Hans Luginbuehl was my ancestor. He falls right in line when added back into the family of Peter Luginbuehl LH2R-M19 and Ursula Luginbuehl LH2R43B and delete him from the marriage the other Hans has. This worked out great, but his ordinances did not transfer with him. I show his Baptism 1 Apr 1933 alberta and Endowment15 Nov 1938 Logan. Sealed to Parents 2 Dec 1964 in Logan. Can any of those dates be verified and reinstated?

Nevermind. I just needed to give familysearch time to reboot and the ordinances showed up just fine. Thank you for helping me find this person. FYI How do you find deleted people or people that were merged incorrectly? Is this something I can do or is it limited to special help?

It takes a little detective work but does not use any special access to data or information. Basically what I did was use the IGI to look for Has Luginbuehl born on 25 Mar 1594 in Grosshoechstetten bern switzerland to Peter Luginbuehl (LH2R-M19) and Ursula Luginbuehl (LH2R43B). You will find the IGI by going to genealogies and then limiting the search to the IGI collections. Once you have located the record in the IGI you can find and ID number associated with that records. Using that ID number and going to Family Tree you can search for that record by using "Find by ID number" and locate where the record is located in Family Tree. We were able to locate it in Hans Luginbuehl K23X-WL5. Looking at the change log we could then determine when the records had been merged. There can be numerous bumps along the way and for people with numerous IGI submissions it can be time consuming to check each record. That is the methodology used in the above situation. Hope that helps a little.

No putting it here in community makes it public for anyone to use. It is certainly not private information. Just be advised that is can be quite time consuming and lead to lots of questions because the method is deductive and does require some thinking about the results.
