    @Ann m Kelley

    FYI

    I am just another 'lowly' User/Patron ...

    You are not alone ...

Most of us have ... been there ... done that ... and, still do ...

Short Answer: There is NOTHING that you can do; except, keep trying, regardless ...

    And ...

IF, you DO NOT get ANY response; THEN, just make the necessary "Changes" that you consider are necessary.

    As an aside ...

We more often than not, DO NOT always get a response.

There are often, NO responses to 'Messages' (and, "E-mails") we send.

There are any number of reason why other Users/Patrons DO NOT respond:

Some being; but, certainly NOT limited to ...

    ▬ User/Patron, has Died themselves

▬ User/Patron, DOES NOT know about 'Messages', in "User Messaging", in 'FamilySearch' (or, even, "E-mails")

▬ User/Patron, is an infrequent User/Patron, of "Family Tree" of 'FamilySearch'

▬ User/Patron, may have STOPPED using, "Family Tree", of 'FamilySearch'

▬ User/Patron, may SIMPLY choose NOT to respond

    "Collaboration" is great.

"Collaboration" can be a very useful too.

But, we all know, that for "Collaboration" to work, it must be a two way street ...

Unfortunately, more often than not, "Collaboration", is a one way street ...

Much of the time, we have to work, without any help/assistance from others, researching our "Ancestral" Lines - certainly not the best - but, such is life.

    As I previously suggested ...

IF, you DO NOT get ANY response; THEN, just make the necessary "Changes" that you consider are necessary.

If another User/Patron has any concern, hopefully they will TRY to make contact with you.

Or, they may just change things back again, WITHOUT any communication.

In the latter situation, it is just a matter of making the "Changes" that are necessary; and ...

IF, there is ANY interaction between you and another User/Patron, you MUST "Always" remain pleasant and polite; plus, TRY to educate and make the other User/Patron understand your reasoning; and, be ready to be receptive to the GOOD reasoning of others.

    We ALL make Mistakes ...

NONE of us are Perfect ...

Unfortunately, some People ...'look at life, through rose coloured glasses' ...

▬ They ONLY 'see', what THEY want to 'see' ...

▬ IF, they DO NOT like, what THEY 'see' ... they simply ... 'Dismiss' it ...

.... [ ie. WHATEVER, "Sources" (ie. Records); or, Other "Details", are provided as "Support"/Proof"/"Evidence" ]

    Such is life ...

You CANNOT 'Whitewash' HISTORY, it is what is was ...

[ But, some People, try very hard ... ]

    REMEMBER:

It is often a matter, of SURVIVAL, of the MOST "Persistent" ...

    Just my thoughts.

    Good Luck.

    Brett
