Incorrect ordinance information

Dear FamilySearch,

The temple ordinance sealing-to-parent information for James Edward Karnes (KWJJ-WC3) is incorrect. James is my brother. The family tree shows that he was sealed to his parents 19 March 1974 in the Provo Utah Temple.

If this sealing was performed, it would not have been valid. My parents were both still living at that time and neither of them had been endowed. My parents John Ransom Karnes (KWZS-DY5) and Zelda Goodwin (KWZS-DYP) were endowed and sealed as husband and wife in the Washington DC Temple on 20 December 1974. I was with them at the temple and sealed to them at that time. James was sealed by proxy at that time. (My fiancé acted as proxy.)

My husband and I are currently on a mission and we do not have access to proof of this occurrence. I do not know whether I have proof of this sealing at home, but it is currently not accessible to me. However, the dates are very clear in my mind as I was married the very next day, 21 December 1974 in the Washington DC Temple.

I hope that you can agree that the 19 March 1974 SP date is incorrect and inappropriate and should be removed.
