My son is listed under my mother and father. How do I fix it to put him under me as my child?

Thanks

Mark

On his Details page, under Parents and Siblings, to the right of his name is a "pencil and paper" edit icon. Click that to open a pop-up window. In it, to the left of his name click the "-" to remove him from the incorrect parents.

Then, in your private tree space, attach him to your own PID.

    Hello @MarkAdams28

Thank you for your question in the Community about moving your son to your children list, You can remove him from your parents list, and add him as your child in one action. Write down your ID number first. Then go to where he is listed as a child of your parents, click the edit button right of his name, click Replace beside his name, and add your ID number, if both parents are wrong, then click Save.

Hope the article suggested in the last posting fully answered your question.

This issue often generates questions, and these may have been answered previously. Just a tip to save you some time......before posting a question, it may be helpful to you to check if this topic has been addressed previously - You can add keywords (in this case 'wrong person' or 'remove incorrect relationship' ) to the search bar, and other similarly themed questions will appear and may provide you with a quicker answer.

    Hope this helps.
