If the 'upgrade' is performed as poorly as the 'upgrade' to the search feature, I'll just cancel my membership. You folks have absolutely ruined the search feature. It takes forever to find anything now.

    Eddie,

I can appreciate your frustration. I was really upset about the changes too. Hopefully the changes in Community will make more sense. Fortunately, I have found I can search records just like I use to. I am still not happy about the way they went about making these changes, but let me share with you for a quick moment how you can still search records just like before:

When you go to Search and then Records, enter the person's name, approximate DOB and approximate location. Click on "More Options" on the top Right. If you scroll all the way down, you will find "Record Options" on the bottom right. There you can choose "type" and then select Census, marriage, birth, death. I hope this is helpful for you. It helped me overcome a lot of my own frustration when I made this discovery.

    Alice
