How to remove a ordinance request

A person in my tree has ordinance ready for a marriage that never was fullfilled and later finally annulled. Ida may Trent LTSP-GXT married but walked away 15 minutes later....the guy, Lincoln J Mitchell was dumbfounded and it took him and a lawyer to finally get this annulled. I would like to have that ordinance request removed from both persons. You can read the newspaper account I posted in both their memories.
After this fiasco Ida married a widower named William Klos. the marriage didn't last and they divorced. I would like that ord request removed also. I doesn;t make sense to seal her to either man. Should I just request this and just never do it to keep other from doing it?

Think outside of the square ...
Look at from another angle ...
'No' ... NOT a waste of time; as, WE get to go through the "Temple", AGAIN ... Better for us ...
Brett
ps: Well, that is the way we eventually 'reconcile' the matter/situation/circumstance ... each to their own ...

I am just another 'lowly' User/Patron.
[ And, I happen to be a Member of the Church ... ]
You are not alone ...
Some of us ... have been there ...
Unfortunately, what you "Request", with regards to the "System", will most likely NOT happen ...
[ NOT even in the specific circumstances/situation that you advise ... ]
In relation to your 'Question': Should I just request this and just never do it to keep other from doing it?
Short Answer: You CAN; but, you will HAVE to KEEP "Renewing" it; and, WHAT happend when you pass on ...
Here is a "Knowledge Article" in 'FamilySearch':
Requesting that ordinances not be performed
https://www.familysearch.org/en/help/helpcenter/article/requesting-that-ordinances-not-be-performed
Where is states, among other things:
Quote
------------------
FamilySearch has no provision to prevent completion of temple ordinances.
------------------
As an aside ...
MANY Years ago, there was provision for "DO NOT SEAL" (DNS).
Such does NOT apply NOW.
I certainly know that this does not help; but, I hope that gives you some insight; and perspective.

ps: BOTH, my Wife; and, I, have been is a similar situation ... we know what it is like ...

Thank you for your quick response....too bad the DNS is not still good to use, but I suppose it could be wrongfully applied where it should not be. I know that if work is done, like many I suppose, and the folks do not accept it, it will be meaningless. It is just a waste of time and aggravating just to think about it. thanks again
