I agree with @DianaHawks - it looks like there are two separate families.
The 1900 Census which is attached as a source to LHFB-69R has James being born in August 1853.
Kentucky Death records have James Henry Holloway born 17 July 1853 Spencer Kentucky and died 11 June 1927 Kentucky.
