Why were family names I had reserved done by someone else?

Yesterday I learned that 4 family names I had reserved already had the endowments done by someone else. These were names I planned to do the next time I went to the temple. How can I be sure that other family names I have reserved don't get done by someone else before I can do them? Is there a time limit on names now? I had reserved these names in the fall of 2020. I don't understand how this happened.

The SP for Grace, Agnes, and Ellin, are all reserved by AthenaMarieCole in 2017, so she may have had a ordinance card already printed for the Endowment. The cards are still valid even when the reservation expires.

    Hello @NewboldSharonChipman1

Could you please give us the IDs of the names concerned so we can check?

One reason I can think of is that you reserved the names for the person on one ID. There was another ID with the ordinances already reserved or completed. A merge was completed.

This knowledge explains this situation - https://www.familysearch.org/help/helpcenter/article/i-reserved-family-names-familysearch-shows-they-are-now-reserved-by-someone-else

Currently there is no limit on the number of names you can have in your reservation list. But Ron Tanner has been speaking (on his FB live forum) about introducing a limit so that may come in soon. As I recall, Ron said, that if you have a large reservation list and a limit is introduced that FamilySearch will not cull a list. It will be just that you can't add any more names to your list until you come under the limit.

    All the best

Three of the names are sisters: Grace (9MD4-T6P), Agnes (9M7R-L8M) and Ellin (9M7B-K3P). I had reserved them on October 21,2020 and their work was done in Phoenix on October 8 and 9 2021. The other name is Hannah Asquith (HMLX-H2X). Her endowment was done in SanDiego on 3 September 2021. I had reserved her name on November 15, 2020. Her sealing to parents is still under my name and we plan to go to the Bountiful Temple this Saturday (October 23) to do sealings and will do her name at that time.

What I have learned from this experience is I will check every name before I go to the temple to make sure the work still needs to be done.
