Minnesota Obituary cards
US, Minnesota, Brown County—Obituaries, 1855–1990[M381-TY7]
I have several questions about obituary cards.
Image 1 - Person #2 Catherine, is a sister to Joseph who was indexed as person #1. Should he be indexed again with the relationship to Catherine? Or since he already appears it isn't necessary? I don't see anything specific about whether a name should only be indexed once.
Person #5 - should Andrew Drexler be indexed? I've seen it done on some batches but usually it is not.
Image #2 - should Martin Augustin be indexed. There is no death information about him. Here again, I've seen it indexed by some Indexers but usually not, unless that individual is also listed with death information.
These cards are pretty easy but the more I Review the more variations I am finding. Any guidance will be appreciated.

In obituary indexing, we don't only index names once since the relationships are included. We index every single name. I think the words in the example lean to this instruction:
Please note that an entry should be indexed for each obituary record listed on the document.
I don't think we index the name at the top of the card since it isn't an obituary record.
Each of these deceased will have their own file, so the Others will show up on that index. I am including the Others and would index Andrew Drexler as a nonrelative since the relationship is not stated.
Of course on Entry 7, the index is not correct. The Prefix is not (Mrs. Joe), just Mrs. I am seeing this alot on these cards and someone is using (Mrs. Joe) pretty consistently. It's kind of odd.

Thanks. Yes, I've noticed the Mrs. Joe issue too. I hadn't gotten clear through this batch since I wanted the answers first.
