can an unfinished ordinance be deleted?

Someone came into my family tree and created a marriage between my 2nd GGrandmother, Ann, and her actual husbands brother, Isaac, then added all the children from the real family into this new family. Documentation we've had for decades show this never happened so I corrected all that by deleting all the children links and the marriage, clearly noting the reasons on each action.

Problem is, even though the relationships have been removed, Ann still has an unfinished sealing ordinance to Isaac listed. How can that be fixed?

All ordinances for Ann and her real husband were done in the '70's but now Ann will show as having an unfinished ordinance while I'm moving around my tree.

    @HalSmeltzer , Are you saying that under Ann's Ordinances tab that a SS is still showing for Isaac? There must still be a couple relationship between Ann & Isaac somewhere. Check both Ann & Isaac's detail page again. Go to the Family Members section and see if you can find the Ann & Isaac relationship. If you find a relationship then Edit /Remove it. Refresh your screen. If there is still a SS ordinance showing for Ann to Isaac then a moderator will likely have to help further. Can you provide the PID for Ann?

    Hola HalSmeltzer, por lo que entiendo a tu abuela la volvieron a crear?, que lástima que no indiques su ID para poder revisar la información, pero si la volvieron a crear, significa que ahora hay duplicidad de ella, si gustas envianos su ID para poder ayudarte con más eficacia. Estaré encantada de poder hacerlo

    @HalSmeltzer , Grasping at straws here, but maybe one of the children is still showing incorrectly as a biological child to Isaac and that child is also shown as a biological child of Ann and even though there is no couple relationship between Ann & Isaac the system believes there should be one because of the common biological child? I've never seen that.

    @HalSmeltzer

    If you can provide the PID for Ann and Isaac, we could take a look to see if we can help you uncover the problem.

    Hi all!

    I'm so sorry I've never responded. I just found 1 email for each response above in my spam folder!

    Ann is KN49-8T6.

    Isaac is KF27-F87

    I've checked and can't see any relationships for her or Isaac.

    Thanks for the quick responses! How cool that so many people are so willing to help!

    @HalSmeltzer

    Thank you for the ID numbers of the individuals involved with the ordinance sealing issue.

    We checked through all the children of Ann Thompson and see no children listing Isaac Smeltzer as a father, but the ordinance page states one is connected, as you stated.

    We are forwarding your case to another department for review and resolution. You may be contacted by that team if they need more information.

    Ann Thompson KN49-8T6 and William Smeltzer KN43-XPB: The temple ordinances now appear correctly in Family Tree.
