I am indexing obituaries, but there is also a picture of a birth announcement. What do I do ?

Thanks for your question @Schofield, Susan Kay. It's best to see the image in your batch when answering a question using a share batch code. However, you are correct to not mark the image as No, No Extractable Data, because then the obituaries would not be indexed. Per the Project Instructions, you would only index the obituaries, and skip the other types of records, such as a birth announcement. Thank you for asking for clarification, and for your efforts in making these records available for those searching for their ancestors.

Project Instructions, What to Index, bullet points 2 and 3 state:
"Index all obituary records.
Mark all other images in Step 1: Images as No, No Extractable Data."
So do not index birth announcements. Thanks for asking!

This is one image with about 8 newspaper clippings on the 1 image . All are obituaries except the one small clipping of the birth announcement. So if I mark it as no extractable I believe all the data that was indexed for the obituaries will be deleted, correct?
