Endowment shared with Temple by someone but no way to reserved from Temple Share

Hello,

I have the Sealing to Spouse for Clarence Edward Allen and am waiting to perform that ordinance, but cannot do so until the endowment has been completed. I have requested several ordinances over time for other persons from ordinances that were shared with the Temple by others. In this case, however, there is no option, to Request the Endowment from the Temple Share. There is no indication that a Temple has reserved the Endowment, either. The Endowment was shared with the temple system 30 October 2016. My SS expires 13 January 2022.

I would like to perform the Endowment and am hoping the option to request this ordinance from the temple can be made available for:

Clarence Edward Allen, L6LF-66R; born 1 September 1905 at Oakwood, Hall, Georgia. He is my 5th cousin, 1x removed.

Sincerely,

Michelle Morris

    Hello again,

    Tim Wildung apparently reserved and shared the ordinance the same day. Ordinances shared with the Temple System show the person who reserved and shared (Tamara) and also have a Request button for others wanting to reserved that ordinance that has been shared with the Temple System to request it and complete in 90 days. That option does not show for this reservation/share.

    What you tell me shows is what I see and which has prompted my inquiry. Deleting cookies is something I do almost daily.

    This issue needs further address.

    Sincerely,

    Michelle Morris

    @MichelleMorris1

    I also see the request button on the endowment for Clarence Edward Allen, L6LF-66R

    This article explains possible reasons the FamilySearch webpage might not display correctly on your screen. You might also ask another person to look using their account.

    Try using the Chrome browser. I also can see the request option for this ordinance.

    If the ordinances for one of your ancestors are reserved, you can contact the person and request that they share the ordinances with you. He or she can unreserve the ordinances, allowing you to reserve them for yourself.
