Getting Family Search to release names to me.
I have a family line with the last name of 'Children.' The computer system doesn't like that last name and says there is not enough information to reserve and print the temple cards. I have had Family Search send me multiple cards. I used to do this by opening a case number. I'm not sure where to go to send the user ID and name to get the cards released to me. This is especially difficult now that the temple holds onto all the cards so I now have to request them for every ordinance instead of every individual and so far it usually takes at least two weeks to get new cards emailed to me.

Dear Guest,
We have consulted other moderators with your concern about being able to reserve and print your temple cards. The following knowledge article explains a reason why you are having to deal with this. https://www.familysearch.org/help/helpcenter/article/what-words-and-abbreviations-cause-needs-more-information-to-appear
It's a hassle for those of you with legitimate family names on the 'invalid' list - FamilySearch has to work behind the scenes to allow you to proceed. We are moving your concern to the appropriate team that will be contacting you to resolve your concern. This part of the Community messages will usually appear "closed" but it will then be "open" in another area.
Thank you so much for contacting FamilySearch.
Sincerely, FamilySearch

I am just another 'lowly' User/Patron ...
[ And, I happen to be a Member of the Church ... ]
Short Answer: 'Yes', you are correct, the problem/issue, regarding "Temple" Work relates to that word.
Specifically, the particular "Word" of "Children", in the 'Family Name' / 'Surname'.
And, CURRENTLY, 'Yes', one must "Request", that each individual/person, be "Checked", in each and very case
As proffered in the aforementioned "Knowledge Article" in 'FamilySearch':
What words and abbreviations cause "Needs more information" to appear?
And, remember, that list of "Words" (and "Abbreviations") is non-exhaustive, there are others.
Unfortunately ...
There are certain "Words", when used in the "Name" Field, of an individual/person, in "Family Tree", of 'FamilySearch', that evoke the, "Needs More Information"; and, contact 'FamilySearch', for "Temple" Work.
Individuals/Persons, in "Family Tree", of 'FamilySearch', whose "Name" Field, contains these certain "Words", need to be investigated by 'FamilySearch', prior to "Temple" Work being undertaken, to ensure that these certain "Words" are actually part of the individual's/person's "Name", rather than the contextual use of the "Words".
FYI
You are not alone ...
There matter was also raised recently as an "Idea" (ie. 'Feedback'):
Automate unblocking temple work for valid surnames in Family Tree that are in the invalid words list
You may wish to add your support to the aforementioned "Idea" (ie. 'Feedback').
Just some thoughts.
