Infant Andrews KHVM-5LD born/died 10 December 1920 was not named.

Want to seal to family, ordinance indicates more information is needed.

Any suggestions or help you can provide?

    I am just another 'lowly' User/Patron ...

[ And, I happend to be a Member of the Church... ]

Short Answer: "Delete"/Remove", the "Word" of "Infant", from the "First Names" Filed; and, LEAVE it "Blank".

Then you should be able to "Request" the "Temple" Work ( ie. "SP" ), simple as that.

The Child, was "Unmanned"; as, such, there should be NOTHING in the "First Names" Field.

    I hope this helps.

    Further to my previous ...

Here is a "Knowledge Article" in 'FamilySearch':

    Temple ordinances for unnamed children

Where is states, among other things

    ------------------

Sometimes you need to perform ordinances for someone whose name is not known.

If you cannot find the name of a person but still want to have temple ordinances performed, enter the information below into the Name field:

    • For an individual with an unknown name or a child who died without receiving a name, enter only the last name of the father or family name into the surname field. Do not enter a first name. Do not enter Mr., Miss, son, or daughter. Be sure the sex is correctly entered as male or female.

When the cards are printed, Mr. or Miss is added to the name.

    I hope this also helps.

I have just checked, the "Unnamed" Child, ANDREWS ( KHVM-5LD ), again.

You really NEED to "Delete"/Remove", the (NEW) "Words" of "Baby Boy", that you just recorded, from the "First Names" Field; and, LEAVE it "Blank".

Then,  you should be able to "Request" the "Temple" Work ( ie. "SP" ), for that Child.

The Child, was "Unmanned"; as, such, that is the way that it SHOULD be, there should be NOTHING, in the "First Names" Field.

That is what is required to do the "Temple" Work.

    Furthermore ...

Just so that you are aware ...

There are certain "Words", when used in the "Name" Field, of an individual/person, in "Family Tree", of 'FamilySearch', that evoke the, "Needs More Information"; and, contact 'FamilySearch', for "Temple" Work.

Individuals/Persons, in "Family Tree", of 'FamilySearch', whose "Name" Field, contains these certain "Words", need to be investigated by 'FamilySearch', prior to "Temple" Work being undertaken, to ensure that these certain "Words" are actually part of the individual's/person's "Name", rather than the contextual use of the "Words".

    And ...

The "Words" of, "Infant"; and; "Baby"; and "Boy", fit in to that category of certain "Words", when used as their contextual meaning, rather than actually being part of the individual's/person's "Name", that cause problems/issues for "Temple" Work.

In relation to the aforementioned ...

Here is a "Knowledge Article" in 'FamilySearch":

What words and abbreviations cause "Needs more information" to appear?

    https://www.familysearch.org/help/helpcenter/article/what-words-and-abbreviations-cause-needs-more-information-to-appear

Remember, that list of "Words" (and, "Abbreviation") is none exhaustive (ie, there are others).

I hope, that this further information, may also help.

Looks good now, without any "First Name(s)".

    Brett

ps: 'G'Day', 'Cuz'. I am related directly to the Child, through his Mother.

I just found one with no first name but it still had "This person's first names contain one or more invalid words." I opened edit for the name, put the cursor in the first name box, entered delete then saved it. So I really didn't do anything but it now allows me to reserve the temple work.

It doesn't make sense but it worked.

@Hapetty, there was likely an invisible (not printable) character in the name field and your Delete removed it.
